Carpet Steam Cleaning Solution

5/14/2022

Carpet steaming may seem like a herculean task to achieve, but you can actually do it by yourself without going the extra mile to hire someone to do it for you. However, due to a busy and tight schedule, you may want to hire a professional to get this job done for you.

After you vacuum and cleaned up your room, the carpet steaming process goes faster. It is a very rewarding thing to do, and the results are quite impressive.

How to steam your carpet
You will be needing a steam cleaner, cleaning products, hand gloves, paper towels, or a clean piece of cloth, goggles, and lukewarm water, a mask, a bucket, anti-foam,
  • Give your carpet a good vacuum before you start steam cleaning
  • Use your spot and spray on stubborn stains on the carpet
  • Give it a good spray
  • Using your cloth or a paper towel, wipe the solution into the middle.
The first step is so important, and it is to put your defoamer or solution into tank A. If you do not put the defoamer in, the dirty water will definitely overflow onto your already cleaned carpet, so do not skip the defoamer.
  • Add two capfuls of defoamer into tank A,
  • Put about nine liters of hot water into tank B and add three capfuls of carpet cleaner.
Both the defoamer and carpet cleaner are in and set, and you’re ready to clean.
  • Now that you are ready, press the pump button to start pumping out the solution.
  • Pull the lever and start cleaning
  • Spread the solution
It is not like a vacuum, so always remember to use long and slow strokes.
  • After soaking the carpet in the solution, press VAC and go over the same area, and suck up all the dirt and moisture.
  • Always check Tank A, again and again, to throw away the accumulated dirty water
  • Allow it to dry. If it’s warm enough, open the windows to hasten up drying. You can also turn on your fans to enable your carpet to dry quickly. Actually, with adequate air circulation, you should wait for about eight to twelve hours after carpet steaming to set your furniture back to its original position. Just because your carpet may feel dry when you touch it does not mean the pad below has completely dried. Be patient and allow it for almost an entire day for the sake of your carpet as well as your furnishings.
Now you are all done with the entire carpet steaming job.

Conclusion
This is basically one of the simplest methods of carpet steaming. Your carpet does not only look amazing, but it also smells so nice too. At the end of the day, you will realize you have literally saved up a lot of money than you would have spent.
